Punch Press Operator / Machinist

Job Description:
     Selected applicant will be required to

1. Set up, adjust, test, and run compound and progressive die punch presses with minimal supervision
2. Set up, adjust, and perform various mill and lathe machining operations.  Familiarity with CNC Machines a plus
3. Work from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements and established records and procedures, often with minimal or no supervision.
4. Work in a safe, quality-oriented manner, utilizing standard shop practices and equipment (i.e. micrometers, calipers, dial gages, etc.)

Experience:

1. 3 years experience preferred with set up and operation of press punch machines, lathes, and mills, or,
2. Entry level individual with good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
3. Applicant must posses (or willing to purchase) their own tools.
4. Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 geometric dimensions and tolerances is required.

1. Work hours are four ten-hour days (Monday – Thursday) usually with ample opportunity for overtime.
2. We offer one week of paid vacation after the first year increasing to four weeks over a number of years of service.
